This week in the Honey Room we have been making rice-crispie cakes.
The children enjoyed going through the process and making them independently. They each had a bowl where they added rice crispies and chocolate before mixing them together. Once they had completed this, the children were asked to put the mixture in cake cases and were asked if they would like to added sprinkles. This activity involved lots of fine-motor movements that will benefit the children in early writing stages. The children couldn’t be any prouder of the cakes they made and enjoyed taking them home as a tasty treat. Well done Honeys!
