In Little Bumbles this week we have had so much fun in the outdoor area, exploring the different effects that different materials have using paint. The children particularly enjoyed using cotton wool to create ‘splatter’ pictures. They enjoyed feeling the cotton wool and how they could manipulate it into different shapes by squeezing, pulling and squashing. They then dipped it in paint and using large movements threw the cotton wool onto large sheets of paper, shouting, “Splat!”
