Collages

This week in the Honey room, the children have been exploring gluing and sticking by making collages with various bits of paper. Creating collages with glue allows the children to understand the sensory concept of the stickiness and how to use it effectively. Learning to use glue can also develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills as they spread and pick up small pieces with their pincer grip. The children showed their own preferences when designing their pictures by choosing which colours to use.
