Print in the Environment

Over the last few weeks the Big Bumbles have been exploring logos and signs. Environmental print is the print found in everyday life which the children are exposed to on a regular basis. The children were very excited to discuss the images which they recognised, paving the way for lots of open ended discussion and conversation, linking in with their personal experiences outside of nursery! The children were very curious to hear about logos which they did not recognise also, such as WWF and the Olympics.
