British Science Week – Little Bumbles
Last week the Little Bumbles enjoyed taking part in numerous experiments for British Science week. They made an ‘ocean in a bottle’ and made raisins dance! Before doing the experiments the children predicted what they thought might happen and then tested their ideas by carrying the experiment out. While taking part the children showed curiosity by asking questions such as ‘how?’ and ‘why?’. Together we discussed how they each worked using language such as; float, sink, rise, attach, half, full, and seperate. Everyone was amazed to watch the waves in the bottle appear and to see the raisins bob up and down dancing. What fun we had!
