Fine Motor – Sand Drawing

This week the Little Bumbles have enjoyed playing with the sand in the garden. The children have been transporting the sand from one area to another and have been engaging in pretend play by stirring the sand in a bowl to make dinner. The Little Bumbles have also been interested in mark making with the sand, the children used their fingers to draw different marks in the sand. Some children drew circles and lines, while others made representations of people and snakes. This has allowed the children to develop their fine motor skills.
