Role playing

This week in the Butterfly room we have been using the role-play area of our room to explore and begin to make believe by pretending. We have been using our role play food to make pretend soup, pasta and cakes, the children have also been using bowls and spoons to feed our doll babies. Over the last few months a few of our Butterfly children have had new siblings so are replicating what they are seeing at home, we also have some children awaiting the arrival of new siblings into their family so this is a great opportunity for them to explore the idea of a new baby around.
