The Little Bumbles have been exploring snow and ice this week with the recent changes in weather they have been experiencing! Lots of the children talked about the snow at their houses and how cold it felt. They wrapped up warm and were excited to get into the nursery garden to investigate the weather! They made footprint patterns in the snow with their wellington boots and large pattern roller wheels! They also enjoyed scooping and collecting up the snow to make mini snowmen and snowballs. Some of the children found blocks of frozen ice and even icicles! There was lots of excited discussion around what they discovered and trying to figure out how the ice got there and why it melted in their hands. Brilliant investigating!
