Writing and Drawing

The Big Bumbles have been very keen to share their Christmas experiences this week. We combined this with a drawing activity and the results were fabulous. Children used new vocabulary and clear sentences to recall events from the recent past – there may have been a few imaginative additions as well! As the children drew they chatted excitedly about the presents they were lucky enough to receive, using descriptive language and beginning to explain how things work. They learned that different families have different traditions, but everyone had fun.
