Honeys
Our Honey room is on the ground floor and is specifically designed for toddlers. This room caters for children aged 24-38 months and is a much bigger, busier environment. Once our children turn 2 we work on a 1:4 ratio. Each child is allocated their own Special Carer and you will be invited in to contribute in the continuous development of the care plan. Our Honey room is split into two sides with a separate Sensory Room and bathroom attached. Our bathroom area has changing stations as well as potties, child-height toilets & also sinks. We support potty/toilet training & have an array of resources to support your child through this challenging time.
Our sensory room enables us to support our 2-year olds inquisitive minds, encouraging them to explore with their senses. In addition, we promote a range of mark-making opportunities, early maths activities & many small-world and role-play opportunities to encourage imagination, communication and co-operation through play.
Our Honey room has free-flow access to the nursery garden where children are supported at all times by our experienced staff.
