The children will be celebrating Shrove Tuesday by exploring different activities including purchasing their own pancakes from the local shop and adding their own choice of toppings. They will be also having a go at flipping their own pancakes and much, much more.

Children are celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March. Children are invited to come in their PJ’s  or dressing up costume and bring with them their favourite book/story to share with their friends.

Whole Nursery Easter

The children will have an opportunity join in the Easter celebrations and design an Egg.

It’s easy to enter. Simply decorate a hard-boiled egg in whatever way you like and bring it to Nursery (date to be confirmed). Use paint, pens or pencils, or cover it in recycled old sweet wrappers, feathers, or glitter – it’s up to you!

Throughout the month of September in celebration of National Grandparents Day, each room will be holding a special stay and play session where Grandparents are invited to come in and join in a range of activities with their Grandchild. (Dates to be confirmed)

We will be dressing up to celebrate Halloween (date to be confirmed). If your child is due in nursery on this day you are welcome to bring them dressed up as characters. We will have a spookytastic time with games, activities and Halloween themed fun!

Whole Nursery National Nursery Rhyme Week 2020

World Nursery Rhyme Week promotes the importance of nursery rhymes in early childhood development and education.

Throughout this week we will be singing many different nursery rhymes which helps develop vocabulary, language and literacy skills, numeracy skills, social, physical and emotional skills – and they are so much fun!

Whole Nursery Christmas

Christmas is always a wonderful time in nursery. Each year the nursery celebrates the season with lots of themed activities that complement the child’s nursery day. Writing is much more fun in snow, babies love the unwrapping experiences, children decorate their own tree and small worlds create awe and wonder to any play space!
